Apply our Omega-6 diabetic hand and body lotion several times a day as needed to maintain soft, hydrated and healthy skin.  Fragrance free.  Made in the USA.

  • Specially formulated with Borage* oil
  • Each bottle contains 8 oz

*How Borage oil maintains healthy skin:

The Borage oil found in Salk’s Diabetic Hand and Body Lotion is extracted from the seeds of the borage plant, borago officanalis, a wildflower commonly known as the blue starflower. The borage plant contains 24% gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an anti-inflammatory.  The borage plant is the richest known source of GLA, and borage oil has been used for thousands of years for its medicinal qualities. Borage oil is the fundamental ingredient in all DiabetiCare™ formulas.

I am a clinical supervisor in a Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. The Mission for the program called Hopkins ElderPlus is to maintain the frail elderly in the community. Incontinence is a huge problem caregivers and participants struggle with on a daily basis.

The therapy department at Hopkins ElderPlus has used your product consistently for our participants. We have received fabulous feedback from participants who are now able to socialize outside of their home setting because your product gives them the confidence of managing their incontinence as well as caregivers who are grateful for dry bedding.
